Five dermal fillers of different density have a mixed gel structure, combining the advantages of both mono-and biphasic gel. These fillers are stabilized according to Double Smart Crosslinking (DSC) technology, a special reticulation method of “smart crosslinking” at different temperatures and UV exposure. This gel structures consists of longer chains and less rigid crosslinks as compared to other dermal fillers.
When using DSC technology which includes the photoinitiation method and thermal crosslinking with the addition of BDDE agent, we obtain the maximum stabilization coefficient for the desired density of the product and its dynamic structure but with the minimum amount of crosslinking agent BDDE as compared to the standard technologies.
Biphasic particles of stabilized hyaluronic acid gel mixed with smaller monophasic poly-shaped particles of stabilized hyaluronic acid gel of different sizes and shapes give SkinElly products mixed-type properties. It is this mixed-type gel that has the best profiling properties for filling wrinkles and forming volumes. The filler provides a comfortable and more physiological distribution in the tissues, completely filling all the layers.
